Introduction; About Me.

I swum for England between the ages of 11 and 15, and I believe this has furthered my communication skills and appreciation for other individuals. Although it's considered a lone sport, swimming is all about team work and encouragement, which I believe I can use to my advantage during this Media course. I chose this course as I consider it to be a great help in order to better my understanding in a world of journalism, which is what I hope to end up studying at University.
My favourite form of media is most definitely film. Producers such as Jerry Bruckherimer and Tim Burton, to directors such as Tony Scott and Quentin Tarantino- I believe- really enable their characters to come to real life, and allow the audience to empathise with the stories and lives and emotions that they produce and portray.

Above is the image of one of my most admired films, Man on Fire. For me this story managed to hit all the right places, from 'Pita' being abducted, to the trials and tribulations that 'Creasy' endures to get her back and make sure she returns home safe, no matter the consequences. For me, it's a definite must watch.
